Walthamstow Market is cherished by local residents for its fruit and veg, household goods and clothes. A huge physical regeneration scheme including new electricity points and lights, along the whole 1km length of the pedestrianised street market, has now been completed, and the market has also received fresh new branding and this dedicated new website.
The council wanted to add to this regeneration by devoting one end of the market to be a ‘Hub’ for new traders. The new stretch of market is called ‘Saturdays at St James Street‘.
The St James Street end of the market launched on 31st March 2012, and is now running each and every Saturday from 8am to 5pm. The 60 new market stalls have been a huge success and is the place to find a fantastic array of new and different stalls, including street-food, ethnic food, antiques, upcycled products, retro, vintage, arts, crafts and gifts…

This website is supported by the London Borough of Waltham Forest to make a better Walthamstow Market.
